Extended biography

Daniel Andraszewski is an entrepreneur, software developer and the founder and CEO of dotGrow, a digital agency that brings together technology, marketing and business growth strategy.

His interest in technology began long before his professional career. He built websites and online forums, assembled computers as a hobby and helped others solve hardware and software problems.

He initially studied surveying before moving into civil engineering. During his studies, he wrote programs that simplified calculations and automated repetitive project tasks. In the fourth year of his engineering degree, he decided to change career direction and began learning software development intensively.

In February 2016, he completed a degree in civil engineering at the Military University of Technology and began working as a software developer shortly afterwards. He later completed a master’s degree in computer science at Warsaw University of Technology.

Over the following years, he worked on commercial systems as an employee, contractor and entrepreneur, including projects delivered with international teams.

In late 2019 and early 2020, he co-founded an online women’s clothing shop. Running an e-commerce business allowed him to see technology from the perspective of someone responsible not only for the system itself, but also for the product range, marketing, sales, logistics and customer service.

At the same time, he was developing a service business. He began as a freelancer, creating websites, online shops and digital solutions for companies. As the number and scale of projects grew, he began building a team and developing his own way of working. That business became dotGrow.

Today, Daniel helps business owners and leaders make better decisions at the intersection of technology, marketing, data and processes. His role is to understand the business context, establish priorities and turn them into a plan that can be delivered by the right team.

His work is guided by the principle that business should set the direction for technology, rather than adapting to tools chosen without a clearly defined purpose.

Areas of expertise

Digital strategy

Daniel helps companies determine which digital activities matter most to their continued growth. He analyses the relationships between technology, marketing, sales, data and processes.

His aim is not to implement as many tools as possible, but to select solutions that make sense for the company’s situation and goals.

Web technologies

His background in software development allows Daniel to assess not only what is technically possible, but also maintenance costs, scalability, limitations and the long-term consequences of decisions made at the beginning of a project.

His work includes website architecture, e-commerce, integrations, content management systems and the development of existing platforms.

E-commerce

Daniel understands e-commerce from both a technical perspective and the perspective of a shop owner.

He understands the relationships between technology, product range, marketing, payments, logistics, customer service and the profitability of the business as a whole.

Automation and integrations

He helps companies reduce manual work, organise the flow of information and connect the tools used by different teams.

Automation is not an end in itself. It should simplify processes, reduce errors and allow people to focus on work that requires human judgement, involvement or creativity.

Data and processes

Daniel helps companies assess which data they need to make informed decisions and whether their existing systems provide reliable information.

He also analyses how technology affects sales, marketing, customer service and the team’s day-to-day work.

Visibility in AI systems

One of Daniel’s developing areas of work is helping companies and brands become more visible in answers generated by artificial intelligence systems.

This includes:

AI in business

Daniel is interested in the practical use of artificial intelligence in companies.

He focuses on applications that can improve the quality of work, access to knowledge, information analysis, process automation and customer service. He is cautious about adopting solutions driven solely by hype or unverified promises.

Approach to technology and business

Goals first, tools second

Daniel does not assume in advance that a company needs a new website, CRM system, advertising campaign, automation or AI implementation.

He first examines what the organisation wants to achieve, how it operates and where the real problems lie. Only then is it possible to assess which solutions are appropriate.

Simplicity has value

A ready-made, proven solution can often deliver more value than a system built from scratch.

Complexity is justified only when it solves a real problem or creates a meaningful business advantage.

Technology does not operate in isolation

Technology decisions affect marketing, sales, processes, data and people’s work.

A solution that appears sound from the perspective of one department can create costs or obstacles elsewhere in the organisation.

Implement in stages

Daniel prefers to begin with a smaller, clearly defined scope.

This makes it possible to test assumptions, reduce risk and develop a solution further only once its value has been confirmed.

Business should guide technology

Technology is a tool that supports an organisation’s goals.

It should not force a company to shape its processes around the limitations of systems selected without due consideration.
